ConocoPhillips looks to offload North Sea Oil Interests

Reuters has reported that ConocoPhillips is planning to sell its interests in North Sea oilfields in order to focus on its U.S. shale operations. Its possible that ConocoPhillips interests in the Clair field, and the Britannia and J-Area, consisting of Judy/Joanne, Jade, and Jasmine fields will all be put on the market with a potential value of as much as $2 billion.
