Neptune complete acquisition of ENGIE E&P

Neptune Energy Group has announced the completion of the €4.7bn acquisition of ENGIE E&P International SA (“EPI”). The transaction sees Neptune become an international independent E&P company with operations in the North Sea, North Africa and South East Asia and producing 154,000 net boe/d in 2017.

The North Sea region includes strategic assets such as Cygnus in the UK and Gjøa in Norway. The organisation has more than 1,800 staff working across exploration, appraisal, development and production
